Client wanted to see and experience authentic Ireland. They were seeking to combine rural tranquillity with the excitement of a European capital city. The program started softly, giving the clients time to absorb the natural atmosphere. The program then increased a little in tempo, while still allowing free time. The client wanted the trip to finish with some party action in the capital city.
5 star accommodation in the south-west of Ireland and a popular 5 star hotel in the heart of Dublin city. Contrasting the rural beauty of County Kerry and the chic sophistication of Ireland’s Capital City.
Clients arrived into Dublin on an early morning flight and were met by their Eirebus driver and guide and transferred to Killarney for their 4 night stay. A pit stop and lunch in a rural tavern was enjoyed by all.
Hand delivered notes by an Irish Butler were received by all participants in the morning, offering an array of gentle leisure activities. Spa relaxation, an orientation jog of the local area, an Irish cookery lesson and a poetry reading in the hotel’s library were just a few Irish bites to be tasted!
A hospitality desk was arranged with the assistance of a local professional. Guests ventured further afield today with jaunting cart rides to the National Park, boat rides on the Killarney Lakes, a shopping trip to a local hat and accessory designer and tasting at a local chocolaterie on todays’ optional menus.
Group tour excursion was organized to the village of Blarney, home of the world famous Blarney Stone, which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. Following the visit, lunch was arranged at a local eaterie with shopping in the Blarney Woollen Mills Store, an essential Irish shopping experience housing a large selection of Irish products. Evening dinner was exclusively reserved in the Bricín Restaurant, offering a treasury of Irish culture, cuisine and design. Many clients opted to have a post dinner tipple in one of Killarney’s many hostelries.
Departure to Irelands capital city – Dublin. Lunch was arranged upon arrival in one of Dublin’s mose chic restaurants and guests then enjoyed an orientation tour of the city before check in. A hospitality desk was arranged with the assistance of a local professional for further afternoon and evening activities on offer. A relaxing dinner and overnight at one of Dublin’s leading hotels.
Today the group divided into two and some took a local train north of the city while the other half discovered the south side of the city. Both enjoyed walks in picturesque scenery and picnic lunches, with a wide variety of Ireland’s finest produce packed in their cute baskets. Farewell dinner was organised in the The Church Restaurant, one of Dublin’s most unique bars and restaurants. Dinner was served in the Gallery Restaurant and the group then enjoyed VIP access to the popular night-club.
